The 10th IEEE International Smart Cities Conference
TT01 : PEA Pattaya Tai 3 Substation
1st November 2024 : 13.00 – 17.00 hrs.
The First Digital Gas Insulated Switchgear Substation with Online Monitoring System in Thailand.
Modular Switchgear Monitoring (MSM) is used to supervise, manage and analyze performance of Gas Insulated Switchgear. MSM is designed for SF6 and gas monitoring allowing early detection and prevention of critical gas leakages in Gas Insulated Switchgear, enabling to reduce gas emissions. MSM enables circuit-breaker monitoring in addition to gas monitoring, for improved operational reliability and performance of the circuit-breakers.
TXpert™ lets you start making simple steps in your journey to digitalizing transformers, taking control of complexity, and achieving leaps in performance. CoreSense™ gives continuous online monitoring of transformer gases, such as hydrogen and moisture.
EXCOUNT-III is a complete remote real-time surge arrester monitoring, diagnostics and analysis system. It permits the registration of the total number of discharges, the surge amplitude and wave-steepness, the date and time of occurrence, the total leakage current as well as the resistive leakage current through the surge arrester. In addition, the equipment can be used to define the residual voltage across the arrester for the actual surge, which in turn can be used to better estimate overvoltage in the station for a more detailed insulation co-ordination evaluation.
RelCareis an open and transparent digital partnership agreement that combines asset management software with the expertise. It enables asset and O&M managers to reliably and cost-effectively optimize system performance and protect crucial power assets.
TT02 : PTTLNG Rayong and Flora Exhibition Hall
1st November 2024 : 13.00 – 17.00 hrs.
The Flora Exhibition Hall, located at LNG Terminal 2 in Map Ta Phut, Rayong Province, serves as a unique office designed to resemble an LNG tank. This green building utilizes cold energy from the LNG process for efficient operations. Inside the 830 m³ Climate Atrium, there are two zones: a permanent exhibition featuring maple, sakura, and begonia, and a seasonal zone showcasing rotating cool-climate plants like tulips, hydrangeas, and amaryllises. The hall is open year-round with free admission, closed only on Sundays and public holidays, promoting community prosperity and tourism in Rayong.
Map Ta Phut LNG Terminal 2, also known as Nong Fab LNG Terminal, is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal operating in Thailand.
PTT LNG is planning to build a second LNG import terminal in Thailand with the capacity to handle 7.5 million tons per year. The project has been granted governmental approval and PTT is looking to begin construction in 2020 and to start operations in 2023.
